Early January, 2010

Below are some "random" pictures of the girls from this month. We enjoyed having a nice break over Christmas with Brad being off for a few days (yay!), and then when we returned to Augusta, I loved having both of the girls at home for several days before school and other schedules started back up again. We had lots of fun, just hanging out and doing some special activities. :)

Sweet Sisters!

Cuddling up after supper one night to watch a quick movie before bedtime.

This is some of Boots' most recent handiwork. She went around the kitchen and colored on every drawer and every cabinet. Believe it or not, I was just a few feet away; my back was turned to her because I was busy digging in the pantry, looking for something to cook for supper. I suppose this is what I deserve for turning my back for even one second on a two year old! :)

Boots crashed one morning on her little couch in the girls' den. I guess that's what happens when you wake up every morning around 5:30! (No, she normally doesn't take a morning nap, but she just couldn't resist this particular morning!)

Boots' favorite spot for watching TV ~ about a foot away from the screen, sitting in the little doll furniture from Nana and Papa.

Alli Lane having a lazy day on the couch.

Boots decided to be lazy, too!

Alli Lane had her first skating party this month!

She had a blast!!!

And so did Brad and I. It was like taking a step back in time to the 80's ~ and this rink doesn't look like it has changed a bit since then!
She did great, too. It wasn't long at all before she was skating on her own!

Boots had fun, too!

Thanks,Bran! My friend, Elizabeth, made them for Boots' second birthday party ~ we had it at an old fashioned ice cream parlor, and it was an ice cream theme. :)
